Interim Logistics Engineer
To the next level as a Logistics Engineer! Do you want to contribute to the optimization of logistics processes and be part of influential projects? Then this is your chance! Accept the challenge to implement innovative solutions and work in a dynamic environment.
Interim Logistics Engineer through NextGen
As a Logistics Engineer you will work through us on various assignments (average 9 months) at our leading clients on the improvement of production and business processes. Think of a Scania, a Mepal or an Amgen. Your tasks include designing, analyzing, and optimizing logistics processes. You investigate bottlenecks, devise improvements and implement smart solutions, such as more efficient inventory systems. Working with various teams, you tackle technical challenges and refine process designs.
You work with data, observe work processes and collaborate with your colleagues to speed up or ease processes. You test improvements, evaluate the results and adjust where necessary.
Why work through NextGen?
Moving forward. That's what we do at NextGen - together with you. Because we are more than a secondment agency. In addition to your work, we work with you on your personal and professional development. And how? With our Next Level programme.
In the first year of our Next Level program, you'll work on your personal professional development (PPO) and complete LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt training. The PPO training will give you insight into yourself and your interactions with others. You get to know yourself better: what drives you, what motivates you, and how can you better focus on what is really important to you? The LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt training is tailored to train you as an improvement and project manager. You apply the knowledge directly to your project, while realizing tangible results for the company you work for. A win-win situation. Upon completion, you will be a certified LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt!
The second year focuses on personal leadership. You develop the leadership skills you need in today's dynamic business world. You learn to connect by recognizing and respecting different points of view, and you learn how to form close-knit (virtual) teams. Because change is a constant, you will be introduced to various change management models and learn to apply them directly. In addition to the training days, there are intervisions in which you methodically work on your personal development points or substantive issues from your work. This capacity for self-reflection helps you to develop further and increases your self-knowledge and dynamics with others.
Throughout the course, you will be intensively coached by one of our Talent Coaches. In short, you will fill your backpack with valuable knowledge and skills that will benefit you throughout your life. Sounds good right?
