Interim Supply Chain Engineer through NextGen

As an Interim Supply Chain Engineer you will work for clients who need your knowledge and skills. Sometimes you temporarily take over the role of a Supply Chain or Logistics Engineer, sometimes you lead an improvement project from A to Z. But always with one goal: to ensure a more efficient and future-proof supply chain.

You work for different clients - from multinationals to SMEs - and get the chance to gain new insights and experience each time. This way you accelerate your own growth and build a powerful network faster than in a permanent job.

What will you do?

  • Optimizing supply chain processes.
  • Deliver direct impact with clients.
  • Improve delivery reliability and lead times.
  • Implement and supervise improvement projects.
  • Flexible roles: from process optimization to operational support.

On average, assignments last nine months and are tailored to your level of expertise. Customization, in other words. Together with you, we look for the challenge that takes you further.

Working through NextGen

At NextGen, it's about more than just an assignment. Not only do we help you find challenging projects, we also invest in your development. Our Next Level program is specially designed to help you grow as a professional and as a person.

In your first year, you will work intensively on your professional and personal development. You will follow a customized LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt training, in which you not only learn the theory, but immediately apply it to your assignment. In this way you will make an impact with your client and strengthen your skills as an improvement and project manager. You will also take PPO (Personal Professional Development) training courses, in which you will gain more insight into yourself and your interaction with others. What motivates you? How do you manage yourself and others more effectively? And how do you focus on what is really important for your growth?

In the second year, the focus shifts to personal leadership. You'll learn how to powerfully influence, connect viewpoints and create strong teams - both physical and virtual. Because change is the only constant, you'll dive into change management models and apply them directly in practice.

Throughout the program, you will be personally guided by a Talent Coach, who will help you get the most out of yourself. You will develop skills that will benefit you for the rest of your career.

Sounds like a smart investment in yourself, right?
