SHE Manager at Norit
As a liaison between the local management team and the organization, you will ensure that the plant complies with all guidelines, procedures and laws and regulations. You quickly and effectively identify and manage safety and health risks. You set the standard for working safely, fully in line with legislation and company goals. What else are you involved in?
- Lead and direct safety, health and environmental (SHE) initiatives in all departments within the Zaandam and Klazienaveen locations;
- Provide leadership and support to specialists in improving safety and environmental procedures;
- Take responsibility for all environmental matters and act as the first point of contact for authorities, neighboring businesses and residents;
- Develop and implement cost-effective programs to increase SHE awareness and prevent work-related injuries and illnesses;
- Encourage and guide the organization in complying with policies, regulations, legislation and NORIT values;
- Manage local quality systems, ensuring integration, maintenance and auditing of required quality systems;
- Lead a team of four employees;
- Reporting to the General Manager.

What do you own?
- A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, safety, health, environmental or related field;
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role or as a SHE Officer;
- Demonstrated technical competence in the SHE field;
- Knowledge of relevant (environmental) regulations;
- Negotiation skills to negotiate with external stakeholders;
- You live in the Zaandam or Klazienaveen area;
- Good knowledge of the Dutch and English languages.

- An excellent salary between €65,000 and €95,000 (depending on experience), including 8% vacation pay and a 13th month;
