Process Engineer
Innovation, technology, development and growth. Are these words that appeal to you and would you like to contribute to the optimization of processes within the production environment of Nijhuis Toelevering? Then this position might be the match for you!
Process Engineer at Nijhuis Toelevering
As a Process Engineer, you will ensure that everything in production is perfectly aligned. You work together with your colleagues to improve the processes, promote sustainability and take quality and safety to the next level.
You take a close look at opportunities and bottlenecks in the production process and work together with the production manager to realize improvements in the processes. With your technical insight and critical eye, you make the difference. As the connecting link between production, development and quality, you are in daily dialogue with the shop floor, colleagues and external partners. You advise the production manager on the impact of planned changes and discuss process improvements, taking your colleagues along with you in your ideas. Therefore, a people-oriented approach is important. In addition, you work project-oriented, are communicatively strong, curious and have keen analytical skills in the field of processes and technology.
The common thread of the position?
- Building a culture of continuous improvement (LEAN) and starting and securing improvement projects (DMAIC).
- Keeping an eye on production and safety procedures and ensuring that they are adhered to.
- Taking steps in digitization and automation.
- Regularly seek coordination with your colleagues and the production, planning and quality teams.
You can work well independently and know which tasks to take on yourself. You are fluent in dealing with people on the shop floor and don't get easily upset. Dealing with resistance is familiar territory for you. Driven by continuous improvement of the production process, you also look ahead and are always looking for opportunities to further optimize.
